Cathy Horner has been playing the guitar for nearly 35 years, and teaching for 18 years, including private and group lessons, guitar workshops and camps. Her critically acclaimed solo acoustic performances have included Woodsong Radio, the VCU auditorium, and numerous songwriter showcases. Her original material and deft guitar skill even earned her a feature article in Guitar Player Magazine. Cathy is fluent in all guitar styles, including traditional and modern finger style, alternative and classic rock, and welcomes both electric and acoustic students, adults and children, beginner to advanced.
